Floor & Surface Care
Wood Floor Care
Cleaning, buffing and protective maintenance that keeps hardwood looking warm and polished.
Floor & Surface Care
Hard Floor Stripping & Waxing
Over time floor finish yellows, scuffs and traps dirt. Stripping and waxing removes the worn layers and builds a fresh protective finish on resilient floors like VCT and sheet vinyl.
The service
How our hard floor stripping & waxing works
The process involves applying stripper to break down old finish, machine scrubbing and removing the slurry, neutral rinsing, and then applying multiple thin coats of floor finish with drying time between each. Burnishing can follow to increase gloss and hardness.
Because floors need time to dry, we schedule this work for evenings or weekends and coordinate furniture moves in advance. Between full strips, periodic scrub-and-recoat visits can extend the result.
Ideal for
- VCT corridors
- Schools and training centers
- Retail floors
